About Me

Hello,

I’m Anchi— an interaction designer, based in San Francisco, and originally from Taiwan.

Design allows us to share and expand our experiences, and I aim to inspire empathy and create social impact through interactive design work.

Growing up in Taiwan, where political and social activities have been increasing, I began to develop social awareness at a young age. By volunteering for non-profits related to education, gender, and inclusivity, I have personally confronted widespread social problems and started wondering about my own role in society.

After discovering my passion for creating, I came to the U.S. to pursue design as my career, and found out that interaction design is my way to navigate and influence the world— reimagining kinder, more humane ways for people to interact with one another.

Solving systematic and complex social problems is hard, but I am looking forward to challenging myself in these areas as well as other undiscovered callings.

I spend my free time reading books, watching films, as well as connecting with the world through exploring diverse cuisines and events.

I’m currently studying in the Interaction Design BFA program at the California College of the Arts (Graduating Spring 2020), and am looking for an UX/product design internship/full-time opportunity.
